Heritage Park is outdoor. How do you handle audio?
Heritage Park ceremonies get the full lav-mic-plus-shotgun setup, same as any outdoor wedding. I'll do an audio test 30 minutes before the ceremony to dial levels for the actual wind and crowd conditions. Reception audio inside the barn is more controlled, but I still run a backup recorder for toasts in case the DJ's audio feed is messy.
Do Simpsonville barn weddings need different camera planning?
Yes, mainly because of lighting. Barns are gorgeous in daylight and challenging after sunset unless the venue has good reception lighting (string lights, uplighting, ambient bulbs). Cinematic film looks bad when the room is dark and the camera is fighting the ISO. I bring a small kit of continuous LED lights for reception coverage if the venue needs the help.
How long until we get our wedding film?
Silver and Gold films are delivered in 4 to 6 weeks. Every package also includes a 30-second cut for social, so you have something to share while the full film is being edited.
