Spartanburg is 40 minutes east and a different energy than Greenville, more industrial history, more grit, a downtown that's been quietly rebuilding. We work here for brand clients in the innovation corridor and for couples who want something with more character than a manicured wedding venue.
Converse University, the Chapman Cultural Center, Morgan Square, the old mill buildings, there's a lot to work with in Spartanburg when you actually know the city. Brand sessions, weddings at the historic properties, family portraits in Barnet Park. Small fuel line item on the invoice, nothing dramatic.

Morgan Square, Chapman Cultural Center, Converse University, Barnet Park, Croft State Park, the old Drayton Mills area, and downtown Spartanburg venues and streets.
Good to know
Spartanburg has more character than people give it credit for. Morgan Square anchors downtown, and it fills up during festivals and Saturday events, so check the calendar before a downtown session. Converse University and the Drayton Mills area are only a few miles apart and give you two completely different looks. It's about 40 minutes up I-85 from Greenville, which adds a small fuel line to the quote and nothing more.

Do you charge travel for Spartanburg?
No. Spartanburg is inside our local-rate radius, same price as a Greenville session or wedding. We start adding a small travel line item past about 60 minutes from downtown Greenville (which Spartanburg is comfortably inside).

How far ahead do Spartanburg couples usually book?
Weddings: 6-12 months. Sessions: 2-4 weeks. Peak Upstate wedding season (April-June and September-November) fills first, so if you're targeting a busy month, sooner is better.
