Anderson wedding videographer.

Anderson weddings on film. Lake Hartwell changes everything. Waterfront ceremonies, dock receptions, drone footage over the lake at sunset. Hard to beat that look.

Films in Anderson

Cinematic. Not staged.

Lake Hartwell is the reason Anderson weddings film differently than the rest of the Upstate. Water reflects light, drone footage over the lake at golden hour is striking, and ceremonies on a dock or at a waterfront venue look like a destination wedding without the destination. Anderson is 40 minutes from the studio and a meaningfully different visual market.

Small fuel line ($75-$100), same packages, same delivery. Filming over water has a few extra planning considerations (wind for audio, drone safety distance, sunset timing) but we shoot enough lake weddings to know the moves. Couples who want the wedding film equivalent of a destination wedding without the actual destination pricing often land in Anderson.

Most-asked

Anderson wedding film FAQ.

Can you fly a drone over Lake Hartwell during the ceremony?

During the ceremony itself is usually not ideal (noise distraction, FAA airspace considerations over crowds), but during cocktail hour, golden hour portraits, and the early reception, yes. Lake Hartwell drone footage at sunset is one of the most striking shots in the highlight film. We plan the flight window around the ceremony schedule.

How do you handle audio for a dock or waterfront ceremony?

Lav mics on the officiant and one of the partners, shotgun mic on a stand near the altar, windscreens on all of it. Water amplifies wind noise, so I take extra time during the audio test to confirm levels. Late afternoon ceremonies tend to be calmer than mid-day; we plan ceremony timing around that when possible.

Is Anderson too far for Full Coverage to make sense?

Not at all. Anderson is regular workday distance, 40 minutes from the studio. Full Coverage at a Lake Hartwell venue is a popular pick because the drone footage and the variety of locations (dock, lakeside, indoor reception) give the editor more to work with. Travel line is $75-$100, not a destination wedding fee.
