Lighting
Spaces with tall windows like this give you the best free light of any small wedding venue in the Upstate. Mid-morning getting-ready, ceremony with the windows as a soft backdrop, then reception transitions to the room's warm overheads. We bring one flash on a stand for the dance floor and otherwise lean on what the room gives us.
Coverage approach
Smaller weddings reward documentary-style coverage — fewer formal portrait stops, more time on candid moments. The brick wall is the obvious portrait backdrop; less obvious is the doorway and stairwell areas, which photograph cleaner than they look in person.
Timing & seasons
Year-round, but the room is at its prettiest in spring afternoon light when the windows fill with diffused sun. Winter weddings here feel especially intimate.
